Complete a Drawing of this Theme: "The Youthful Life of a Lady Pirate"
Deadline is APRIL 27th, 2012
I came up with the following milestones for Lady Serenity's Herstory.
- Born September 11, 1759 in Wilmington, Delaware
- Her Family were international Gun powder Merchants for DuPont
- There was a split in the family between her Father (Loyalist to the
British Monarchy) and her Uncle ( A True Son of Liberty)
- At a meeting of The True Sons of Liberty, Lady Serenity becomes
friends with another female Revolutionary/Pirating enthusiast
- On her 18th (1777) birthday she follows her Uncle to the Battle of Brandywine,
which is won by the British and Lady Serenity must retreat with the
other survivors.
- In retreat, with her best friend, she joins up with a ship of
Privateers (Pirates)
- She has many High Seas Adventures only to end up at the The Battle of
- Yorktown, Virginia 1781, The end of the American Revolutionary War
I'm thinking "Xena of the American Revolutionary War" for the feeling & attitude of the imagery.
We are looking forward to seeing your interpretations of Lady Serenity in her youth.
